Meeta's August Newsletter

Namaste all my dear Yogis. It has been a while since I last sent out a newsletter and a lot has happened in the world.

So many of you have found your way to my new website and to our interactive classes in Zoom. Wow! what a learning curve! Thank you so much for all of your support it has been an honour and a pleasure to be invited into so many of your homes during this period of worry and uncertainty.

Classes at my Pentire Avenue studio

I am delighted to announce that we will be resuming some LIVE yoga classes at my Pentire studio from Saturday 5th September.

Regretfully, due to current social distancing guidelines and preferring to err on the side of caution, I will be accommodating no more than 4 students in each session. We will raise this limit as soon as it is appropriate to do so.

Mat spaces will be allocated on first-come first-served basis through the booking system and are priced at £10 per session. This restriction on numbers means that we cannot afford empty spaces and for this reason, cancellation of your booking will not be possible.

First classes will be:
Saturday 5th September, 8am to 9am; and
Sunday 6th September, 8am to 9am

New class - new venue

The St Denys Church Centre

From 3rd September I will be teaching up to 8 students on Thursday evenings from 6:00 - 7:00pm at St Denys church hall.

Classes will be priced at £8 per session and, as with the classes at my Pentire studio, will need to be booked in advance via the booking system.

Full Address:
St Denys Church and Centre
Dundee Road
SO17 2ND

There is ample on-site parking, access to which is from Dundee Road.

Important Notes

From Thursday, 3rd of September because I will be teaching at St Denys Church Hall between 6 and 7pm the Zoom YIN class on Thursdays will run from 7.30 to 8.30pm.

2. Please bring your own mats to live classes.

3. Church of the Immaculate Conception, Portswood

I have kept in contact with the management team at our regular venue, the Church of the Immaculate Conception in Portswood and am sorry to have to tell you that their hall is not going to be available for use by anyone until at least October.

Zoom OnLine Classes

Zoom classes will continue as per the schedule

A huge "Thank You!" to all of the yogis who have attended my Zoom classes. Your continued patronage has been absolutely core to the survival of MeetaYoga through the COVID-19 pandemic. Please keep coming back to your mats!

Our Zoom classes range through many different styles and times so that yogis may have choices depending upon their available time and their physical needs and capabilities.

Our latest offering is Surya Yang Yin - an early morning session in two halves: An energetic flow to get our bodies moving followed by some great stretches to focus our minds on the day to come. Come and give it a try!

Whilst you are here - why not check out the timetable and book a class?? :)
