MeetaYoga Terms and Conditions

1. Interpretation

1.1 “Company” refers to MEETAYOGA.

1.2 “Customer” refers to the client, or company who has booked MEETAYOGA services.

1.3 “Teacher” refers to the person or persons responsible for overseeing and teaching any classes booked.

1.4 “Class” or “Classes” refer to The Company’s classes, including yoga, meditation, workshops, retreats, and any other wellbeing activities as agreed with the client.

1.5 “Terms and conditions” refer to this document.

1.6 If you access and use this website (meetayoga.com), you accept and agree to be bound by and comply with these terms (the “Terms”). If you do not accept the Terms, you should not use the site.

1.7 The Company reserves the right to change the Terms and therefore asks customers to check the Terms regularly, prior to booking.

2. Booking & Payment terms

2.1 Customers are required to pay for bookings prior to attendance. Where the customer attends a ‘live’ class, payment can be made in cash prior to the class starting. For all other classes, retreats, etc., pre-registration and the deposit of funds will be required prior to booking via the site.

2.2 Prices are agreed upon when booked.

2.3 Teachers will be paid on the last day of every month for any classes that took place within that month.

2.4 All refunds will be at the discretion of MEETAYOGA. Any refunds made may be subject to a commission or handling charge due to internet banking charges and commissions.

3. Cancellations (Customer)

3.1 Private classes operate a 4-hour cancellation policy. Where cancellations are made in sufficient time, credit will be added back to the relevant account. Classes cancelled by the customer with less than 4 hours’ notice will still incur the full fee.

3.2 The Company is not responsible for an instructor becoming unavailable. Should this occur, the company would ensure — where practically possible — that another instructor replaces them. Where this is not possible, or where a session is cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances, the company will issue a credit note/refund to all those who have previously booked that class. The Company will not be liable for any other incurred costs or damages to the customers from a cancellation.

4. Locations and Start Times

4.1 Customers are asked to arrive at least 5 minutes prior to the start of the Class. The Company reserves the right to refuse entry to anyone arriving after the start of the Class.

4.2 For corporate and private bookings, the location must be agreed between the Company and the Customer five days prior to the first class and it is the responsibility of the Customer to ensure the location is safe and suitable for a wellbeing/Yoga class.

5. Client/Customer and Teacher protocol

5.1 Corporate and private bookings are an arrangement between the Company and the Customer. All class bookings, cancellations, and arrangements are to be made between the Company and the Customer via the online site. Booking or attempting to book a MEETAYOGA customer independently and not through the Company will result in an immediate termination of the teacher’s contract and other bookings with the Company.

5.2 Following the termination of a corporate or private contract, the former MEETAYOGA teacher is not permitted to teach the Customer for 6 months after the date of the final class. If the former teacher continues to teach the Customer within the 6-month period after the final class, the Customer will be obligated to reimburse the Company for the full amount paid to the teacher for these classes.

5.3 The teacher must not sell personal services or goods, such as workshops, classes, and retreats, during classes taught on behalf of the company.

6. Fitness and Health

6.1 The Company advises Customers not to take part in one of the Classes without first seeking medical advice if they have any concerns at all over their physical condition. These concerns should also be shared with the company to ensure suitability is correctly managed.

6.2 Customers with low or high blood pressure or cardiovascular irregularities should not attend the Class without express and written permission from a medical professional.

6.3 The Company reserves the right to refuse access to any Customer if it in any way doubts the health of the Customer and their ability to safely take part in the Classes.

6.4 Customers accept the risk of injury from performing exercises in the Classes. The Company accepts no liability for injury to the Customer, except in so far as such injury is by law incapable of exclusion.

6.5 Women who are 14+ weeks pregnant are welcome to join the class, on the basis that they have some prior yoga experience. We regret that pregnant women less than 12 weeks and with no prior yoga experience are not recommend to join the class. Pregnant women are asked to complete a pregnancy yoga class prior to practicing and should contact the company to determine when such classes are available.

8.2 Such material, and the format of the class, will belong to the Company and be capable of being licensed by the Company alone.
